Angel Xpress Foundation (AXF) has transformed several communities by bringing together people from disparate socioeconomic backgrounds and uniting them with a common purpose. Its core belief is that an involved, educated adult can lead a child to discover their true potential and that every child deserves this opportunity. With this as its guiding light, AXF has used this city’s unique coexistence to bring together affluent residents and underprivileged children who live in the same neighborhood. Educated adults who needed only a medium to channel their efforts and contribute to their communities get together in public parks with school-going children from neighboring slums. In pleasant surroundings, far from the chaos that often surrounds them, these children are tutored, mentored, and guided for an hour each day as they build their English, Mathematics, and life skills.AXF is now eleven years old. Over time, AXF grew in strength and numbers and even went on to tutor children in grades 10 and 12 for their board examinations. In 2019, over 700 committed and trained volunteers guided over 2,200 children across 20 Free Learning Centres (FLC) supported by AXF. Today we have 24 centres 2500 students and 1500 volunteers associated with us .
