Parents have immense potential to transform schools and to bring systemic changes. Thus, we aspire to build a network of 10 million parents. This network would serve as a community learning platform to share their knowledge and expertise. The network would also amplify parental voices, needs and aspirations for systemic change in education. Saajha is catalysing India’s public education reforms through parent and community leadership. We are building an ecosystem for parents to feel connected and supported in their efforts to impact the lives of children and drive transformative change. Saajha, since its inception in 2014, has worked across 2000+ schools in Delhi, Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Karnataka. Listening to parents has been at the core of our work. Training, personalised support, policy reforms, adaptive technology have been our strategic drivers to enable parental participation.
