Opportunity Description
The program aims to set up a digital infrastructure inside one classroom to implement a grade-appropriate conceptual learning intervention for rural government school students predominantly for grades 5 to 10 depending on the school construct. The program is designed to support government school teachers to impart vital learning outcomes through an integrated learning program (scholastic + co-scholastic). How Does the Model Works: • Grass root level partners is engaged to identify a government school with teacher shortage and procure necessary approvals • Class Admin, field coordinators and local class assistants are assigned to facilitate the classes • Timetables, curriculum planning. Student enrolment, teacher allotment and digital infra setup in class are enabled. Expectation from Volunteers: • Fluency in one of the regional languages (Reading/Writing/Speaking): Kannada, Tamil, Telugu. Hindi, Marathi, Gujrati, Odiya & Bengali • Commitment - 2 hours in a week, 1 hour on each day • Commitment - 1 term ( 12–16 Weeks) • Laptop/desktop with good quality webcam • Good speed internet connection • Teaching Hours: Between Monday to Friday, 9: 30 AM – 4:30 PM • Subjects: Math/ Science/ English
