Play Writer Volunteer

Theatre In Education is looking for a volunteer short play writer. Let's create impactful stories that spark conversations, inspire action, and make a difference together! 

Selection criteria: 1. Passion for Social Issues: Candidates should demonstrate a genuine passion for social issues and a strong desire to create change through the power of storytelling. 2. Writing Proficiency: Strong writing skills are essential. We're looking for individuals who can craft compelling narratives, well-developed characters, and impactful dialogues. 3. Understanding of Theatre: An understanding of theatrical elements, such as plot structure, character development, and dialogue dynamics, is important to effectively convey messages through live performances. 4. Creative Thinking: We value creative thinkers who can approach social issues from fresh perspectives, bringing innovative ideas and angles to their scripts. 5. Relevance of Experience: While formal education or experience in scriptwriting is a plus, we also welcome individuals with a strong inclination for storytelling, regardless of their background. 6. Availability and Dedication: Writing impactful scripts takes time and dedication. Writers should be committed to meeting deadlines and contributing wholeheartedly to the campaign.
