"ConnectFor, in collaboration with Aashray Foundation, is organizing a clean-up drive at Yamuna Bank, Delhi. Over the years, the Yamuna River has faced severe pollution due to the dumping of plastic, tins, cans, food waste, and other garbage along its banks. This pollution not only harms the environment but also affects the beauty and accessibility of the area for local residents. The goal of this initiative is to spread awareness about environmental sustainability and encourage collective action. Volunteers will play an active role in cleaning up the riverbank by collecting plastic bottles, bags, bottle caps, and other waste materials from the area. All cleaning equipment required for the activity will be provided by the NGO on the day of the event. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the environment to contribute meaningfully and help restore the natural beauty of the Yamuna River. Let’s come together to create a cleaner, greener Delhi—one step at a time."
